Mrs. Finney has had 38 years experience in the legal profession – 8 years as a Legal Assistant to the late Honorable Tyrus H. Cobb, Chancellor; 12 years as Legal Assistant to the Honorable F. Lee Russell and the late Honorable William S. Russell; 14 years in the Bedford County Clerk & Master’s Office (from June 1989 – June 1997, served as Deputy Clerk; July 1, 1997 was appointed Clerk & Master) Mrs. Finney also has her Legal Assistant Certification and is a member of the Tennessee Clerks of Court Conference, County Officials Association of Tennessee.

She is also past President of Leadership Bedford Class of 2005-06 and currently sits on the Leadership Bedford Board; Vice-President and Board of Directors member of the Fair Association of Bedford County; Board Member of the Community Clinic of Bedford County; Board Member of the Chamber of Commerce Beautification Committee, and Member of the Shelbyville Woman’s Club. She has also been selected to the Honors Edition of the Empire Executive and Professional Registry. She is married to Bob Finney, Superintendent of Shelbyville Water System and also a Real Estate Broker with Wayne Neese Realty & Auction Company. They have one child, Jason Finney, who is also a Broker with Wayne Neese Realty & Auction company. She and her family are members of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
