Bedford County Circuit Court Clerk

This position performs a variety of administrative duties in the city, county and state court systems and provides service to the public, judicial officers, attorneys and staff.






Bedford County Health Department

Applicant must be a Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration.






Bedford County EMS

The paramedic is expected to provide courteous medical care for all type of patients with unlimited diseases, injuries, and personalities. The difficult physical demands include: heavy lifting, crawling, kneeling, and walking long distances. Paramedics operate in a range of environments from the back of an ambulance to rough terrain and in all types of weather. All patient care must adhere to the standards set forth by the State of Tennessee and Bedford County EMS. The paramedic may be assigned other specific administrative duties or tasks as needed.

Bedford County Sheriff's Office

The Bedford County Jail and the Bedford County Workhouse are currently accepting applications for Correctional Officers. The duties include supervision of inmates within policy and procedures while protecting the rights of inmates. Must have a GED or high school diploma and be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to pass a job-related background check and pre-employment drug screen.




The employee will be a deputy with the Sheriff’s Dept. the duty could be as a patrol deputy on any shift or as a security specialist division deputy at the Bedford County Courthouse on the day shift.

Bedford County Mayor Office

Responsible for cleaning of facilities; disposal of trash; operating scrubber, buffers, vacuums, and similar equipment. Will assist custodial work at Bedford County Court House, Bedford County Court House Annex and County Offices at US Bank Building.






Bedford County Juvenile Detention Center

Must have a high school diploma or GED and be 21 or older to apply. Employees must pass a physical, drug screen and background check.







Bedford County Property Assessor

Duties include measuring, reviewing, listing and drawing footprints of new construction and other property improvements for property tax roll (including but not limited to commercial, industrial and single-family dwellings etc.)
